Wedding Come and Gone

Well, over the weekend we had our 'at-home' reception, to celebrate with all our friends and family who couldn't travel down south with us for our wedding day. It's hard to believe that it's over. So much planning and details. It was so much fun! I'm sad that it's over. We had our reception at home in our back yard and it was truly everything I wanted it to be. We had lights in the trees, candles on the tables, a camp fire down back, and live guitars. We even had a surprise pair of white doves show up (thanks Caverly and Nathan)! These beautiful and TASTY seashell cookies came from the very talented Noelle at Noelle's Custom Cookies. The cake was DELICIOUS! We had this chocolate, strawberry butter-cream filled cake made at Layers Wedding Cakes - thanks to Jennifer for doing an amazing job! She was great to work with!

Finally, I need to say a huge thanks to the family and friends that pitched in to help Darren and I bring it all together. Everyone worked so hard, with cooking and baking and cleaning and running errands! My mom, grandmothers, aunts, sisters and EVERYONE, I can't say enough thanks ~

It meant so much to have you all there to celebrate with us!

And here's one more of my handsome husband jammin'...
