It's a good feeling to be organized and there are so many lovely sewing boxes and tool boxes on the market today to help you out, but I really love the idea of finding a sweet, vintage sewing box, one that was loved in another time, to put it to use again - Clockwise from top:
I love the vintage baskets. When my grandmother passed away last year, my dad found a full sized wooden sewing basket - like the wooden one you found on etsy - and brought it back to me. Turns out that my grandfather had made it (no idea how old it is...but since he died over 30 years ago, it dates it as older than that). It has a definite perfumey smell to it and weighs a ton, but I love having it.
